Tattoos

Fur, fins, petals, and feathers: if it lives and grows, I’d probably like to tattoo it. I specialize in black and grey tattoos focusing on natural subject matter. I particularly love to draw the flora and fauna of the Great Lakes ecoregion.

My illustration style is influenced by vintage field guides and classic nature books. I care about getting the details right: a turtle will have the correct scutes and a woodpecker will have proper zygodactyl feet. I spend time with field guides, iNaturalist, and the outdoors, gathering references so each piece feels accurate.
